Asher the Dog needs a home
Asher is a 3-4 year old Labrador Retriever / Sher Pei mix who is full grown at about 35 pounds. He absolutely loves playing with toys and other dogs and is such a happy dog. Asher loves adventure, so if you like hiking, going to the whitewater center, or just going for long walks- Asher is the one for you! He is working on his leash manners, but he will be a pro in no time. He is crate trained and almost fully house trained (very food motivated so treats and positive reinforcement are wonderful tools for him). Also, his foster mom thinks he looks a lot like Scrappy Do in person for any Scooby Do fans out there!

***Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers and we require a home check for each of our adoptable pets prior to them going to their new homes, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family further than 60 miles from Charlotte is responsible for finding a representative of a rescue local to them that is willing to perform the home check. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to meet/pick up the pet as soon as the application is approved.***
